The Women Empowerment Cell of Trichy Engineering College in coordination with Women in Development Cell of Surya College of Engineering celebrated “International Women’s day 2021” in a grand manner on 8th March at TEC Auditorium. The welcome address was given by Prof. Uma, Head of the Department / Civil Engineering. Our Madam Chairman Dr. Sujatha Subramaniam talked about the triumph of women and their need to develop in every area. An interactive session with the dignitaries and audience was very nice. Prizes were distributed to the deserving girl students to motivate and revere their achievements. The vote of thanks was rendered by Prof. Pavalakodi, Surya College of Engineering. The programme came to an end by 4.30 pm.
