Admission Procedure
Confirmation
Selected candidates must confirm admission by submitting the required documents and paying the prescribed fees within the given timeframe.
Counselling & Allotment
Seats are allotted based on cut-off marks in the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) and TNEA merit ranking.
Lateral Entry
Diploma holders in relevant fields can apply for direct admission into the second year, as per DOTE/Anna University regulations.
Postgraduate Admissions
Admissions to M.E. programmes are based on TANCET/GATE scores or as per Anna University norms.
Application
Candidates must apply through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling conducted by Anna University or as per government guidelines.

4 Years (8 Semesters)
Qualification
10+2 / Higher Secondary (Academic Stream) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
Minimum Marks
As prescribed by Anna University / Government of Tamil Nadu for different categories (OC/BC/MBC/SC/ST).
Postgraduate Programmes (M.E.):
Duration
2 Years (4 Semesters)
Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech. degree in the relevant field with minimum marks as prescribed.
Admission
Based on TANCET / GATE scores and Anna University guidelines.
Lateral Entry
- Diploma holders in relevant engineering disciplines are eligible for direct admission into 2nd year UG programmes, as per DOTE/Anna University norms.

- 12th Standard / H.Sc. Mark Sheet (or Equivalent)
- Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Conduct Certificate from the last studied institution
- Community Certificate (if applicable)
- Nativity Certificate (if required by Anna University norms)
- Migration Certificate (for candidates from other state boards/universities)
- Diploma Mark Sheets (for Lateral Entry candidates)
- Provisional/Degree Certificate (for PG admissions)
- Entrance Exam Scorecard (TANCET/GATE, for PG applicants)
