Code of Conduct for Students
Examinations & Academic Integrity
- Any form of malpractice in examinations or assignments will invite strict disciplinary action.
- Students must uphold honesty in academics, projects, and research.
Dress Code & Identity
- Students must wear the prescribed uniform and ID card within the campus.
- Proper grooming and professional attire are expected at all times.
Discipline & Attendance
- Students must maintain a minimum attendance of 75% in each semester as per Anna University norms.
- Regular and punctual attendance to classes, labs, and examinations is mandatory.
Classroom Behavior
- Students should maintain silence, decorum, and respect inside classrooms, libraries, and laboratories.
- Mobile phones and electronic gadgets should not be misused during academic hours.
Ragging Prohibition
- Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited, both inside and outside campus.
- Offenders will face severe disciplinary and legal consequences under UGC/AICTE regulations.
Extracurricular Participation
- Participation in seminars, workshops, clubs, and community service programmes is encouraged.
- Students must represent the college with dignity in external competitions.
Substance Abuse & Misconduct
- Possession or consumption of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco within the campus or hostel is strictly forbidden.
- Involvement in misconduct, violence, or unlawful activities will lead to immediate disciplinary action.
Use of Facilities
- Students are expected to use labs, library, sports facilities, and hostels responsibly.
- Any loss or damage will have to be compensated by the student responsible.
Campus Conduct
- Students must not damage college property, misuse resources, or disrupt the academic environment.
- Respectful interaction with faculty, staff, and peers is mandatory.
Digital Etiquette
- Misuse of social media or internet for defamation, cyberbullying, or academic dishonesty is prohibited.
