Trichy Engineering College (TEC) was established in the year 1998 by the Annai Santhiya Educational Health & Charitable Trust, Woraiyur, Tiruchirappalli. The Trust was founded with a noble vision to extend the frontiers of higher education and empower students, particularly from rural and semi-urban backgrounds, through quality technical education. The institution owes its inception to the farsighted vision of Kalvithanthai Deivathiru Mr. S. Subramaniyam, whose dedication to academic excellence laid the foundation for this distinguished center of learning.
